– Consider awarding contract for East Side Sewer Improvements Phase 1 Bid of 1.33 million J.C. Evans Construction Co.

– Consider adopting Resolution approving changing in tariffs of Atmos Energy as a result of the settlement between Atmos and the Atmos Texas Municipalities, finding that the rates to be just and reasonable, finding the meeting complied with Open Meetings Act, declaring effective date, and requiring delivery of Resolution to the company and legal counsel.

– Receive effective Tax Rate Calculations, take Record Vote on proposed 2008 Tax Rate and schedule Tax Rate Public Hearings. Effective Tax Rate 22.39 cents per $100 evaluation. Meetings set for Aug. 25 and Sept 4

– Discuss and consider glass recycling. Glass no longer to be accepted at City Recycling Center after Oct. 1 due to being economically unviable at this time. Glass to be disposed of in trash until further notice.

Public Hearing

–Security State Bank at 1111 E. Main St for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a drive-through banking facility in a C-2 Commercial Zoning district. Josh Cude
passed 5-0

— Consider a change in zoning from R-2 Mixed Residential to Planned Unit Development (PUD) on 9.622 acre tract of land located south of Highway St. and north of Sunrise St. & Consider a CUP to allow High Density Single Family Residential on said 9.622 acre

–Consider reduction of impact fees for housing project located at south of Highway St and north of Sunrise St and credit for park fees for an on site park with improvements
no action workshop scheduled for July 25 at 8:30 am at City Hall

New Business

–Receive and consider request for Taxi Permit for Cole Leifeste Stagecoach Shuttle
